Downtown Summer Festival Returns August 8–10
The annual Fairmont Summer Festival will transform Downtown Plaza with live music, local vendors, family activities, and fireworks over the lake.

The City of Fairmont is excited to announce the return of the annual Summer Festival, taking place August 8–10 in Downtown Plaza and on the lakefront.
What to Expect
This year’s festival will feature:
- Live music on the main stage Friday through Sunday evening
- Local vendor marketplace with over 40 Minnesota artisans and food vendors
- Family activity zone with inflatables, games, and activities for all ages
- Fireworks display over the lake on Saturday at 9:30 PM
- Beer garden with Minnesota craft beverages (21+ only)
Downtown Street Closures
Downtown Plaza will be closed to through traffic from August 8–10. Residents are asked to plan alternate routes. Free parking is available at the Community Center and designated overflow lots.
Free Admission
The Fairmont Summer Festival is free and open to all. Food, beverages, and activity wristbands are available for purchase from vendors.
